Now, this watercolor peony is a loose, abstract, and expressionist version of a peony. Just like the watercolor rose, our goal is not to create a super realistic flower painting, but rather, we are trying to create an impression of the flower.
The key is to work quickly and not worry too much about creating perfectly shaped petals.

About The Verse
For my Bible journaling page, I worked on Isaiah 11:2, which says:
“The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of might,
the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—”
This verse and the lettering prompt of “Promised through faith, the Holy Spirit” was a part of the scripture lettering challenge, Daughters of Promise, put on by Amanda from Move The Mountains.
