The Bible is filled with so many verses about singing, which I love because singing and music is such a huge part of life! I often will illustrate these verses with birds or simple music notes, but over a year ago I painted a guitar in my Interleaved Bible and loved it so much that I wanted to do it again! When I read Psalm 13: 5-6, I knew it would be the perfect time to do so!
To make it simpler and save me from having to freehand a guitar, I used my iPad to create a printable that I could essentially trace with watercolors.
I have made the printable available for you as well!

Because the Bible pages are thin, it’s pretty easy to see the printable underneath the page you want to work on. I simply used some washi tape to secure it underneath my page, and then used watercolors to fill in the lines- just as if using a coloring book!
I decided to use watercolors, but you absolutely can use any medium of your choice! Colored pencils would work great!
After painting the guitar, I dressed it up with some watercolor roses and brush calligraphy.
So happy with how it turned out, and it really wasn’t a difficult page to do!
