These times facing Covid-19 are crazy, aren’t they? It is so hard not to let fear or anxiety to creep in, especially when the future seems so unknown. But, we can rest in the truth that God is always good and he is present. Together, we will get through this. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self- discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT
Last week I spent some time hand lettering some verses to help calm my anxiety and fears. There are SO MANY encouraging verses in the Bible, so I just wrote down the first eight that I could think of. The time spent focusing on these scriptures helped ease my anxieties and fears so much. Of course, my anxiety has not vanished, but I feel much more peace.
I wanted to share these Bible verses with you! I made my hand-lettered verses into a free 8×10 printable for you to have. I hope that it helps to bring you peace and encouragement during this time!

Verses For Anxiety, Fear, And Uncertainty
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
“From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
“Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.” Psalm 62:8
“Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken.” Psalm 55:22
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?” Hebrews 13:6
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
