So, the other day I was doodling on my iPad and came up with some simple florals that are great to use for Bible worship! I used one of the groups of flowers to create a super simple and quick page, and made that video into a tutorial! Of course, I am also including the sheet of florals here for you to download

Since Thanksgiving (for us in the U.S.) is this week I thought it would be fun to tie that verse to something that makes me think of Thanksgiving.. PIE!
I had never painted a pie before! Of course, my first thoughts were to do a pumpkin or pecan or apple pie, but I just didn’t think those would look as pretty as a cherry pie, haha. So I painted a cherry pie with a classic lattice top- I encourage you to have fun with this idea and make it your own though!

Landscapes are probably my favorite thing to paint these days. For the longest time, I avoided painting landscapes because I didn’t think I had the artistic ability to do it successfully. Landscapes often look so hard and intricate!…

I’ve been painting some more acrylic floral pages in my interleaved Bible lately and my sweet social media followers have been really loving them! I posted today’s “Bible journaling with me” page the other day and got tons of requests to do a tutorial on it. Thankfully I filmed it, so that is what I am going to share with you today!

I’m a bit nervous about sharing this week’s “Bible journaling with me” page. It’s a personal and powerful page to me, but it is different from my usual style. And it comes with a bit of a story.
For this Bible journaling page, I used a maze that my Dad created and made it into a tip-in Bible journaling page!

Okay, so last week I did a tutorial on painting an ocean sunset with acrylic paints. I love that tutorial and it seems like many of you guys did too! (If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check it out HERE. It also is a tip-in, which is a great Bible journaling technique to learn about if you haven’t already.)
As much as I love acrylics, I know lots of you prefer watercolors. So I thought it would be fun to do a watercolor sunset tutorial as well!

I wasn’t originally planning on doing a tutorial on this “abstract outlined florals” page, but I posted it on Instagram and got so many requests to do a tutorial on it. I hadn’t really realized until then what a great tutorial it would make!
It is simple and quick to do and is a great one for beginner Bible Journalers looking to get their feet wet with watercolors.

I decided I wanted to Bible journal Proverbs 16:9 which says, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” (ESV).
I knew I wanted to do some kind of pathway to illustrate this verse, and then the memories of walking up to the beach popped into my mind. I did my best to describe my vision in the video, but I just couldn’t get the vision in my head out in words. I didn’t use a reference photo and just went for it.
